So as some of you know we had to leave old Blue in Utah because of the moving package we received from the company. We were sad but it was just about time for a new car anyway. Because we thought we were bringing our car from Utah we thought we would have a little more time to look for a car. So here is the story of our three day car buying extravaganza. Ben had been working with the subaru dealer through email for a few days but things didn't get started until we got in there. We signed the papers Monday night and are now the proud owners of a 2009 Subaru Forrester. Don't ask me how we are the proud owners of a 2009 car when it is only 2008. I really have no clue why car companies do what they do. Anyway it is a really nice car. We pick it up today. It has AWD which is really helpful in the winters out here. We weren't hassled and we felt like they gave us a fair price. I was waiting for all of the bartering like down in Tijauna. I hate that stuff. I told Ben I wasn't going to talk, just sit there like a stone statue. I had to go switch my license to a Massachusett's one yesterday in order to register the car. Talk about changing over fast! Anyway we are happy with our purchuse though a little shell shock because this is the first huge purchase the both of us have bought in both our lives.

Clark and I bought our first new car last year. It's crazy all the paperwork you have to sign. And then the feeling of, "That's a lot of money. We're really spending this much money?" I can't even imagine how it will be to buy a house. . . Congrats on the car!
AWESOME!! looks like you won. he he. could ben fit in the other car? i have to know!
He could barely fit. You should have seen him try to drive the Hyundai Santa Fea with the sun roof. He had to tilt his head.
Yea for new cars!! I'm glad you got it. Now, I just need you to give me a ride in it.
Congratulations on surviving what is usually a traumatic ordeal ! Looks like a good choice for a growing family. Drive safely (especially in Massachusetts) Hope you have continuing good luck. U.L.& A.MA

Way to go! And in only three days. But since you really needed a car, sounds like you made a great purchase. I hope you enjoy it!

Congrats on the new car! That's exciting!! I'm impressed you have a Mass. license already... we've been in Texas since November, and I still have my Idaho license... and plates for that matter :) Hope your move went well and that you are getting settled.
