You know I don't think there is anything better at Christmas time than the return of fantastic oranges and clementines. There is something about that citrus smell that just brings me back to Santa and presents under the tree. I remember Isaac's first christmas when we flew back here to Boston to celebrate with Ben's family he spent most of the flight sucking on oranges. Never mind that he was only 4 months old and wasn't supposed to have citrus yet. It kept him QUIET who am I to complain. Therefore I am dubbing it the magical and medicinal fruit of the holidays. Forget sugar plums dancing in your head. Oranges sing in your belly. So sit back relax and eat an orange.

You should absolutely forget those old wives' tales and do what ever works best for you. Have a GREAT Holiday season ! L & M
As long as their teeth get brushed to remove the acid from their growing teeth, I think oranges are great for kids! The fiber from the pulp is good too!
Love em, too! I think my kids each ate like three of those on Thanksgiving day. You're totally right about them making you feel like Christmas. Now I want to go buy some!
That quote should be framed on put on your wall!! "Forget sugar plums dancing in your head. Oranges sing in your belly." I LOVE IT!!
P.S. Could you email me your address? (We're working on Christmas cards...) Thanks! Miss you guys. Take care and eat lots of clementines!! I know I will be!
