Since it has been so nice outside for the past couple of weeks I have spent most of my time in the yard working. My tulips are going crazy and our yard finally doesn't look like a lumber company set up shop. If I never cut down another tree it will be too soon. We were able to have the third tree of ours cut down. We of course had to break it up and dispose of it. And so it was totally justified that Ben bought a Chain Saw (ahum.... yeah). It was like a little boy getting the best toy for his birthday. The things I do to keep my husband young. If you look to the left of the picture you can see the bonfire sized branch pile we had to cut and fit in a trailer. Also I want to point out that I was hard at work right next to Ben. Our hedge bushes never looked so good. My arms ached for days after that.
The boys had Good Friday off (only in massachusetts.... grrr) So we went to a farm with their cousins. Isaac loved the pigs and Micah loved the horses. Isaac commented: "Mom I think that pig is bigger than Daddy!"
Easter was really laid back. It was a beautiful day so we spent most of our time outside enjoying it. (In Massachusetts you drop everything and go outside if it is above 50 degrees in April!)
I have been motivating Isaac to be good on the bus by promising cake. It may be unhealthy but hey it works. Isaac wanted a Buddy cake. Buddy is the T-Rex from Dinosaur train a show they watch on PBS. I was happy with the way it turned out.
And Last but not least, in order to show you the kind of devotion Isaac feels towards Super Smash Brothers. He couldn't even stop to pull up his pants people. I put this at the bottom so it wasn't the first thing you would see. Lets talk about the hysterical factor here. He jumped so hard while playing his pants fell down. Pretty funny. (he does have underwear on it is just hiding.)
