First week of Summer vacation

Well we have survived and it has been surprisingly enjoyable. If you know me at all you know I get nervous when my kids are home all day. Yes that is the sad truth, I have forgotten how to be a full day mom. Granted my boys are unique and tend to present some unusual challenges but I have to laugh at myself when I get nervous to be a full time mom. I have been spoiled for the last few months. But that being said we have had a great time so far. I think they are so glad to not have to do school work all the time that they are behaving. That doesn't mean they don't fight a lot but they are more willing to cooperate which I thoroughly appreciate. We have started a chore chart, gone on walks, gone strawberry picking, made it to the beach when the weather cleared, and they actually have done some workbooks with me for about 30 minutes a day. As long as I keep them scheduled we are all good. 2 more weeks before summer school starts and I am proud to say that being a full time mom has come back to me. Now lets see if I am singing the same tune in about a week and a half!
