She has Arrived.

Our sweet Lily has arrived. Yes, if you have been following Facebook you will remember that there was a little disagreement on what we were going to call her. We were able to all agree that Lily was a perfectly suitable girly name for our little girl puppy. She has warmed right up to the boys and both Ben and I a smitten. We had our first rough night of whining, yelling, and barking, but she made it and is now basking in everyone's attention. She loves running with the boys but also laying in my lap and watching the Celtics game. In a word, she is a very Versatile dog.

It has been really interesting to watch the boys reaction to her. Isaac has taken on the role of Big brother like a champ. When she started to get a little nervous and missing her mother and siblings, Isaac talked to her and told her that it was ok to be sad. He told her that he would love her and take care of her. Ben and my eyes were a little teary for sure. Micah has taken on the youngest child, "you are usurping my reign" role. He is a little jealous of her toys and crate. "Mom I want to sleep in the crate, she can sleep on my bed." Lily has been exercising him by running him all over the house.
