When we first had Isaac we just knew that broken bones would follow. So we have waited with baited breath and a hand on our health insurance card for the day to come. And it has but not for the child we had expected. Our dear baby Micah has been initiated into the broken bones club. Saturday night Micah took a trip down the slide and broke his 4th toe. Count your toes and figure it out. I had to. The little one next to the pinkie. It is a little hairline fracture up into the foot pad. He was such a trooper. Sunday we went to urgent care and they couldn't figure out where the break was. They referred us to an orthopedic specialist and we were able to get in today. He crawled around like gollum all Sunday. Today he helped the doctor figure out where his little foot was hurting and did so well getting his cast on. Special thanks to Tara who helped by watching Isaac so we didn't have to take him with us.
