My Sensory Child

As many of you may know our Isaac has been going through evaluations with the school district and doctors due to many behaviors that are present. He is now in Special Education receiving services to help him be able to function in the classroom and in life in general. Micah has now started showing similar tendencies. I have been hesitant to share my experience as Isaac's parent but I went to a lecture on Sensory Processing Disorder last night, which is what we believe Isaac has, and I felt that others might find answers and understanding from my story. So I have started a blog that will hopefully help other parents whose children may have similar problems, connect and also give each other support. Anyone who is interested is welcome to read and comment. 1 out of 20 children have some sort of Sensory Disorder so most likely you know a child or adult with many of these similar symptoms. I have also put resources and websites that can help. Thanks to all of the people who have helped us come this far in working to find success with Isaac and Micah.
