So to sort of stay on top of things this will be a conglomeration of a lot of little things we have been doing. Last weekend Micah came down with Hand, Foot, and Mouth virus and threw us totally out of our routine. We are finally getting back into the swing of things just in time for Halloween. We did a little celebration for Micah's birthday in anticipation of a fun party with his friends the next weekend. Well it has been put off until this Saturday but we are all looking forward to it.
He wanted a Tom and Jerry Cake so that is what he got! It was fun and easy to make. Of course Isaac tried to be very helpful when it came time to opening presents.
When it was still pretty warm two weeks ago the boys and I decided to set up a fort in their fort! Amazing, using something for what it was designed for. They took blankets, pillows, and books and had a great time. They loved eating their apples out there.
Finally the view from my computer desk and kitchen. If you have never had the privilege of coming to New England in the fall make a goal of it before you die. It is so amazing. The trees that made me feel claustrophobic driving down streets and highways now are a blaze of color. It truly is amazing.

I remember driving up the main street of our NE town one fall and seeing the red maples against the blue sky EXACTLY like the pictures in the calendars. I couldn't believe it, no color retouching or anything. It is beautiful!
