Last night my mother and I sat and watched the weather channel. Yes, I am one of those weather hounds. We watched as a "volcano met a tornado" in other words two big storms meeting in the middle to make a "Classic Bomb". This weather isn't new to me, but it was new for my mother. Of course we prepared for a snow day with the boys at home. All of my New England friends were so excited for the snow day but I was like "mwah". It can be a little stressful being stuck in the house with the two boys going sir crazy. My mother was a great help. So with no more explanation here are the pictures of the unwanted gift mother nature gave me. It was fun to see but a pain to move. Next year for Christmas I think I want a snow blower. Then and only then will I be a true New Englander.
This is when we first went out to shovel and opened the garage door.
My absolute favorite picture. He wasn't this happy for most of the shoveling.
15 inches at 9:30 this morning. about 4 more in the afternoon.
Hat hair and wind burned cheeks. I think I will put it in my modeling portfolio! HAHAHAHA as if I have one of those.

That is a crazy lot of snow!
Okay. That was not a crazy lot of snow! It was completely cleaned up within a few hours. Not that us New Englanders have attitude about bad weather or anything! :) Don't get a snowblower. Shoveling lets you go out and pretend you don't know the kids are in the house fighting, hunting for your hidden chocolate or watching more tv!
My shoulders ache.
I hope you are all surviving the mounds of snow. Wow! I won't complain about the snow in Utah anymore.
Natalie, you're already a New Englander, if you said at least once, "Who ohded this heah white stuff" ??
